Each PPN Information Statement, provided by the financial institution that is issuing the PPN, details the defining conditions and/or events that constitute the Special or unusual Circumstances – such as Extraordinary Events, Protection Events and “Knock-out” scenarios that trigger certain clauses in the PPN’s structure. These events and circumstances are numerous and investors should refer to the PPN’s Information Statements for specific details.
